Watch The Women?!

I saw this video on You tube,  it is A Video commentary on Todd Bentley  by Bro Justin titled Watch The Women!

I laughed at the first part of this man's video especially the part where he said  Todd Bentley  was not to be blamed but the women in Church because, the down fall of most men of God is as a direct result of satan using women because women are weaker in  the flesh. . . .so he urges people to  "Watch the Women" lol.

Hold on Bro Justin  I thought fornication/adultery takes two. . .

I can't imagine how many times we have heard a woman  raped a man but you hear that all the time about men doing so to women even in the Church and work places . I can't even recall the number of times that I was almost violently raped being as a result of my seducing any of the men in question, so I do not know what Bro Justin is on about on that one.  . .  So if a man of God falls we should hold the Women responsible. . .  is that right?

James 4:7 Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you

When are we going to stop making excuses for sin  of adultery/fornication in our lives? the Bible says

1 Corinthians 6:18 Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.

Lastly I do not believe Todd Bentley disgraced the name of our Lord Jesus Christ as bro Justin says for our God's Name cannot be tarnished by anyone instead Todd Bentley disgraced Himself and His Ministry and he showed that he was never a broken Christian in the  first place.

2 Timothy 3:5having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them. 6They are the kind who worm their way into homes and gain control over weak-willed women, who are loaded down with sins and are swayed by all kinds of evil desires, 7always learning but never able to acknowledge the truth. 8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these men oppose the truth—men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected. 9But they will not get very far because, as in the case of those men, their folly will be clear to everyone.

I now ask Who is watching the Men???

Godbless you

  1. I would have to say that i think both men and women need to be watched. The Bible is very clear that there our women in the world that will try and seduce men. But the men are supposed to flee from this just as you have stated as what the Word of God Instructs.

Men are weaker in the flesh when it comes to the sexual things. That is why we hear of countless women being raped by men on a daily basis.

I believe very strongly that the majority of the rapes has nothing to do with the woman being seducing though. The seductive woman usually desires sex.

The innocent woman who is scoped out by the rapist is usually seen in his eyes as the porno trash that he was recently entertaining himself with.

We live in a sinful world of pornography that is plastered all over everything. Statistically the majority of men who rape are men who entertain themselves with pornography. And when they see a normal innocent woman out and about they see the picture of the woman in the magazine that they were entertaining themselves with. And then they treat her as such.

On another note though the Word of God is clear in instructing men to flee from the seducing woman, because if they yield the least little bit they will take her bait and now both(woman and man) have now sinned!

As usual you have brought forth some good information. You have brought it into the light.. God bless you! Tamela

A group of friends were commenting about what just happened with Todd, and my answer is. Man will always fail us, but God will not. What happened is indeed very sad, and I am sure that the Lord is just as saddened about it.

We do need to pray for our brothers and sisters in Christ, and not prey on them..
    Blessings

  3. It wouldn't matter if Pamela Anderson did a fan dance on the table in front of Todd. It's still his job to walk away.

Why is everything blamed on us - because we ate the apple first? The blame game drives me nuts. I don't care who started it - he finished it.

Oh my, how so very disappointing. For I eagerly clicked-on the video in the hopes of seeing lots of beat of modern worship music while drunk in the spirit (for the purpose of gathering evidence only, of course) and there was nothing like that on there at all!

Alas, when are we ever going to learn? For unless women are kept barefoot and pregnant, and never allowed leave the confines of their kitchens for very long at a time, tragedies like what befell Rev. Bentley are bound to keep happening time and time again.

(Please, please, please, PLEASE recognize that those comments of mine are meant to inject a little levity into a very sad situation. For the absolute truth of the matter truly is that Bro. Justin is being serious in his contentions about women being at the root of the problem with Rev. Bentley and others like him.)

  5. Is this not all the more reason to have Moral Fences and boundaries?

Neither the men nor the women are to become stumbling blocks to one another. Since we do not know what might be a cause of stumbling to another we must extra circumspect in our behavior and dress.

"... he was never a broken Christian in the first place."

You do not have the authority to judge a person's position in Christ, Hanna.

What do you know about Todd's life before he fell? Do you know if he repented now? If you fall away tomorrow, does that mean you were not a broken Christian till now? Anyone can fall. Now, I'm not supporting Todd's actions by saying this, but these kind posts never amount to anything.

I'm not attacking you, not criticizing you either. Discern, but do not judge.

    Beware, my sister

The post may not have been about Todd Bentley, but this statement was: "instead Todd Bentley disgraced himself and his Ministry and he showed that he was never a broken Christian in the first place.".

And this was a judgment. ;) Check out the Greek word "krino" for judge. =)

    I am praying for Todd.

Just the other day I was shocked to read that there's even sexual harassment at churches and in Christian workplaces!

On a related note, I think it's important that Christian men and women understand the boundaries between both genders, yes, even within the faith itself. Men and women need to know how to be accountable to their spouses and the congregation at large when interacting with one another.

  15. Oh Brother Isaiah, it is very rampant these days. especailly in the Church settings but Like we always say when you have men and women mix up together in a place things are bound to happen cos many people have not yielded to the voice of God in their hearts. we must strive to be holy even in our closet and not only when people are watching all the time
