God's Holy Name

I was lying down the other day after much stress about something bothering me for some time now, and right in the middle of my deep thought, the Spirit of G0d says to me go to Psalm 9 :10 and I stretched forth my hands to  where my Bible was and  I opened it, though I have read this psalm often amongst others, the Lord God wanted to teach me a new thing that day about something I have not been  thinking about.  So The  Lord gave me this passage Psalms 9:10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you. I said Amen

I was like ok, yes Lord! I know it is so true and I have practically quoted that scripture amongst others, but the Holy Spirit made me see the deeper  meaning in what I had just read, the Holy Spirit gave me  clear insight to what the Lord was saying to me in that passage and I turned the words to myself  as follows. . .  if I know the name of my God  I will put my trust in Him and He will never forsake me Psalm 91:2 I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

The passage talks about  putting your trust in God, because you know His Holy name. Now I asked myself, what is His Name? a little voice whispered to my ears He is your healer and, I burst into a state of unimaginable joy there and then I started calling Him some of His Holy Names for  situations I needed His intervention . . . guess what I felt better and  am feeling better daily because the Lord my God is a covenant keeping God and a Prayer answering God.

His name is Wonderful Counselor and  comforter so when am down He counsels & comforts  me  and I become happy again. Psalms 125:1 Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion, which cannot be shaken but endures forever.

He is the Redeemer of my soul from the pit of hell Job 19:25 For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: Jeremiah 50:34 Yet their Redeemer is strong; the LORD Almighty is his name. He will vigorously defend their cause so that he may bring rest to their land, but unrest to those who live in Babylon.

He is my Savior and Lord when ever am in trouble  He will save me Psalms 38:22 Come quickly to help me, O Lord my Savior.

He is my healer and keeper, by His stripes am healed Psalms 103:3Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

He is my refuge and fortress in which I  hide, He will shield me from the plague and noisome pestilence.  Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Anyone/anything that wants to kill/destroy me  must first of all have to go through JESUS then GOD........cos am hidden in CHRIST and CHRIST in GOD.

He is my Protector , my help in times of trouble, He does not let me fall and keep my feet firm, He protects me from the evil arrows and the snares of the fowler.  Joshua 24:17  It was the LORD our God himself who brought us and our fathers up out of Egypt, from that land of slavery, and performed those great signs before our eyes. He protected us on our entire journey and among all the nations through which we traveled.

His Name is a Strong Tower  Proverb 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.

He is my advocate He will plead my case before the Father, whatever I am passing through He will mediate for me 1John 2: 1My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

He is my Provider whenever am hungry or in need he will provide and sustain me Gen 22:8 Abraham answered, "God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son." And the two of them went on together.

He is my defender/deliverer and avenger He will fight for me , against my enemies for they are many around me, Isaiah 19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto Jehovah of hosts in the land of Egypt; for they shall cry unto Jehovah because of oppressors, and he will send them a saviour, and a defender, and he will deliver them.

when I started thinking on all these many names of God in my head, I found I  was beginning to see why in any  condition am in.... I should apply the name of the Lord to that situation and He will save me as He promised  by His Holy name to do so, He will judge for me and avenge for me and I will hold my peace.

Remember to  seek Him through Prayer and fasting, you cannot call yourself a blood washed Christian and you don't fast and pray.  keep reminding yourself of Gods Holy Name in every situation you find yourself , therefore I call on you to cry out to Him today and call Him all the sweet Names you know and see His Salvation today  in Jesus Mighty Name Amen

    Thank you COH for bringing to my knowledge the manifold nature of our GOD!!!..........often times we do trust God with options; ie, having alternative solutions to what we're believing GOD for..........,but this post calls for three absolute demands (1). I never knew I would write any article on Todd Bentley, because I deliberately avoided the topic while it was raging all over, even though my husband was very vocal against him and his group then, he is even telling me right now that he is not surprised about this piece of news . The Miracle Of Prayer

by David J. Stewart I t is disturbing to find so many people that fail to believe God answers prayer. Several top “authors” and so-called “professionals” being interviewed on TV lately, have claimed that prayer is a great therapy (as an end in itself). You never hear them mention God. It is sad that prayer has been diminished to the status of going to the park to watch the birds. Prayer is not effective because it is a good therapy. Prayer is effective because there is an omnipotent (all powerful) God up in heaven that hears and answers prayer !  I am leery of bumper sticker theology.  I see bumper stickers promoting about the "Power of Prayer," but prayer is nothing without a Powerful Divine God.  I believe in the "Power of God."
