Nuggets for the Year
Don't let your worries get the best of you; remember, Moses started out as a basket case.
Some people are kind, polite, and sweet-spirited until you try to sit in their pews.
It is easier to preach ten sermons than it is to live one.
When you get to your wit's end, you'll find God lives there
People are funny; they want the front of the bus, the middle of the road, and the back of the church.
Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever.
Quit griping about your church;if it was perfect, you couldn't belong there.
God bless

Amen! These are so so true.
ReplyDeleteI had a great laugh at the one about Moses though, rofl!
Especially love the one that says "It is easier to preach ten sermons than it is to live one."
Great nuggets to carry into the new year ahead. Thank you again, ChannelofHealing.
God bless, and Shabbat Shalom!
Oops, "ikechua" is my technorati sign-in. It's Sicarii here in case you're wondering. Sorry about this. :)

I knew that my brother I can recognise you by your three names though you might not know but I do.
ReplyDeleteGod bless

I just wanted you to know that I've been reading your blog for the longest time now, but I usually do it from BlogLines, an RSS reader.
ReplyDeleteRecently, I've decided to 'physically' visit blogs instead so that's why you're 'seeing' more of me now. :)
God bless!

ReplyDeleteSicarii, Am delighted all the same that you do visit the blog there are some times when things get so Crazy that we do not have time for ourselves let alone others... or some even think that they can only visit some "blogs of note" some times when I see that I just remember am doing this cos the Lord said I should do it... i will tell you one secret now, I was about leaving this blog and going into active evengelism it was like I wasn't doing anything for the Lord, I was getting desperate and almost quit but... I went to Him and asked Him to instruct me again if I shold leave or not but the Lord suddendly answered my Prayer in an unsual way and I knew that He wanted me to continue. the Holy Spirit always reminds me that this blog is not about me in any case so I can only post what the Spirit leads me to so if anyone visits and don't like the posts they can visit other Christian blogs and still get what the Lord is teaching them there.
ReplyDeleteMy Brother am very happy that you visit perphaps you must have noticed that, I love your blog so much that is why I visited it often even before you started visiting this one.
Luv ya
God bless
No, no, sister, you mustn't give up, and I am very very happy that the Holy Spirit has convicted you to carry on!
ReplyDeletePerhaps that's why I 'suddenly' decided to stop reading via the RSS reader and come to your blog 'physically'. It must be God working! :)
Isn't He wonderful?
Thank you for your kind words on my blog. Like you, I take it as a ministry and doing my bit for the LORD and His kingdom. I am very very honored and glad that you visit often; it's seldom that we form lasting and meaningful relationships with people in real life.
Yet to have people like your good self who love and support me as I do you is just so encouraging and amazing!
Love ya too, sis!
May God bless you in His wonderful ways!
Shalom Aleichem.
