Tomorrow is not Promised
Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there, they serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are and who you want to become. You never know who these people may be your neighbor, child, long lost friend, lover, or even a complete stranger who, when you lock eyes with them, you know at that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.And sometimes things happen to you and at the time they seem painful and unfair but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential strength, will power, or heart. Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of good or bad luck. Illness, injury, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test the limits of your soul. Without these small tests whether they be events, illnesses or relationships, life would be like a smoothly paved straight flat road to nowhere, safe and comfortable, but dull and utterly pointless. The people you meet who affect your life and the successes and downfalls you experience, create who you are,and even the bad experiences can be learned from,In fact, they are probably the poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them, for they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart... If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but because they are teaching you to love and opening your heart and eyes to things you would have never seen or felt without them. Make every day count. Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again...Talk to people you have never talked to before, and actually listen, let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high...Hold your head up because you have every right too. Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself...for if you don't believe in yourself,no one else will believe in you either.Create your own life in God Almighty and then go out and live in it! ChannelofHealing, I like the humor posts you have, but this one is the winner. I always been a strong believer that everything happens for reason, and you have provided this inspirational article that I really enjoyed to read. Anna :)
ReplyDeletebtw, I wanted to say Thank you for posting 'Tomorrow is not Promised'. Anna :)
ReplyDeleteAll glory be to God Anna, you don't have to thank me at all for mine is just to post and the Holy Spirit does everything.
ReplyDeleteI thank you for your loving visits please don't get tired my dear.

It's true that often we don't understand events and timing etc. but if we trust God then all things will work together for good. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThis one reminds me of an email I got
ReplyDeletewhile going through a great time of questioning why I'd been separated from a certain someone in my life...
It talked about people coming in our lives for a reason, if only for a season. I cried so much when I read that.
I'm still struggling with "Everything happens for a reason."
Its hard to believe sometimes...
Hi Mike, thank God for your input for it is so true. Trusting in God is key survival in this life without having faith and believing in Gods plan for your life is a disaster. e all know that maybe we don't want to accept the fact
ReplyDeletethanks again.

Oh my dear Awananbe don't despair that is life for you, we just have to hold on to the hope for a better tomorrow in Christ Jesus our Lord and personal Savior.
ReplyDeleteLike I told you before we have to let go of the past however sad or bad it was have you ever seen someone who walks with their eyes backwards? NO!
we all look forward to see the brighter future ahead of us.
let me tell you something I do when am hurt I always say tomorrow will be better... guess what it does get better by the next day just like the Bible says in Psalms 30:5 weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Godbless you my dear

I had to come back and read this post. Earlier I was in "meditate mode".
ReplyDeleteThis is an awesome post my friend. I really needed to hear this. You said so many profound things but this really stuck out to me "break free and sets your sights high!"
Wow. You know something? When I was 28 years old I had what we call the American Dream. A very nice home. My own business. Three point five children. A wife. Two dogs. A cat. A white picket fence. Two vehicles. I was on top of the world, right? Wrong. I was my own god. I do not make a very good god.
My point, I reached the goals early in life that most people never have an opportunity to reach. I set my sights too low. But praise God for a new foundation. Now I can build, and build, and build. Limitless. We can never fathom the depth, width, and height of His love!
I came back your page and got encouraged and uplifted. Thank you. A job well done!
BTW: I aced the test praise God! I stood on John 14:26 and his word does not return void!
Praise God am so Happy for you Micheal, I also love your Spiritual views you know at times we Africans we believe that we have a way of serving God that is different from others but the fact still remains that our God is "the one true God" and there is no variableness in Him or shadow of turning in Him. James 1:17 17Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
ReplyDeletebesides the spirit is also one and we are one in the Spirit, therefore I would like to read your blog and study what the Holy Spirit has put in your heart.
