Channel of Healing

The Bible always talked about making sacrifices of thanksgiving to the Lord our God. Leviticus 7:11-15 These are the instructions regarding the different kinds of peace offerings that may be presented to the Lord. 12 If you present your peace offering as a thanksgiving offering, the usual animal sacrifice must be accompanied by various kinds of bread—loaves, wafers, and cakes—all made without yeast and soaked with olive oil. 13 This peace offering of thanksgiving must also be accompanied by loaves of yeast bread. 14 One of each kind of bread must be presented as a gift to the Lord. This bread will then belong to the priest who sprinkles the altar with blood from the sacrificed animal. 15 The animal’s meat must be eaten on the same day it is offered. None of it may be saved for the next morning.

The unleaven bread Jesus broke at the LAST SUPPER to show his as a symbol of His broken Body Luke 22:19 19 Then he took a loaf of bread; and when he had thanked God for it, he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

If he wears it, he will not die. Exodus28: 43 These must be worn whenever Aaron and his sons enter the Tabernacle* or approach the altar in the Holy Place to perform their duties. Thus they will not incur guilt and die. This law is permanent for Aaron and his descendants.

The Cleaning Woman There was a little old cleaning woman that went to the local church. When the invitation was given at the end of the service, she went forward wanting to become a member. The pastor listened as she told him how she had accepted Jesus and wanted to be baptized and become a member of the church. The pastor thought to himself, "oh my, she is so unkempt, even smells a little, and her fingernails are not clean. She picks up garbage, cleans toilets - what would the members think of her."
