Pray without Ceasing!

Prayer 3 The Scripture says in 1 Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing. By the Special Grace of God, I would love  for every child of God interested in going to Heaven first of all/  interested in living a God filled life. . .  which will in turn enable us to make the best out of life here on Earth, to pray and keep on praying and take Prayers seriously for we are in perilous times and the heart of mankind is desperately wicked especially today (if you doubt that. . .  read the news and look around you).

we can talk all we want argue and show our knowledge of the Gospel over one another but without the power of Prayer we are going to be powerless Christians. Prayer changes things especially those things the meant devil meant for evil for us, God will turn around for our good through Prayers in Christ's name . We can talk a lot about Christ and everything we know about God but if you are not a Praying Christian you are not a powerful Christian and will end being "a cooked meal for satan and his  demons".  how is that possible?  you may ask. . .  well demonic oppression for one is a way  to be in satans  chains that means when you don't pray the devil can oppress you whenever he fill like it and you will be in bondage until the Lord is called upon to deliver.

Sometimes a lot of Christians say God doesn't answer my Prayers , I don't know why!  and some say He answers them right away as as they call on Him . . . well my answer to those who say God doesn't answer them when they pray, is to make sure that their mind is right with God and to  keep on Praying/trusting and having faith and one day the answer will surely come as long as they have not already limited God in their Prayers , remember; God is not mocked they that seek Him must do so in Spirit and in truth John 4:24 God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth." Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, )God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, this he will also reap.For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.

Also remember to have faith when Praying and to also  trust that God will answer you in His own acceptable time, God is never late and He does answer Prayers especially the Prayers of the righteous .

Lastly I implore you to commit all aspects of your life no matter how terrible to God's capable hands and watch Him control your life for good and you not only feel light but also you will worry no more about things going wrong because He is able to do all things and very capable... remember He is the CREATOR OFTHE WHOLE UNIVERSE

    There are principles in prayer.

    Jesus said, "I give you the keys to the kingdom....". Keys represent principles, they represent authority, power, access.....if we don't go by the right principles we won't have the desired results.

    I'm sure the disciples asked the Lord how to pray because they did not recieve the desired results when they prayed. And what Jesus did was present to them a principle, a model prayer.... That one prayer is the most profound prayer I have ever read/heard. Many think they know how to pray, when in actuality they know nothing at all.

    I am awed at the revelations contained in Scripture regarding prayer.

    Try studying the Greek for "praying without ceasing", Hanny. =) It will make things more clear.

    When people do not receive an answer for their prayers, they need to ask themselves if they are in line with God's Will. Or if God has willed that something else happen instead of their desired result.

    His ways are higher than ours, but we need to keep Romans 8:28 and Jeremiah 11:29 in mind, that all that happens is for good for those who love the Lord, no matter what happens.

    Prayer shouldn't be about "I want this" or "I want that", but that whatever shall come and whatever action we take shall be in line with His Will, in His time.

    Yes my friend there is indeed power in prayer! We must pray to our Father all the time! I find myself praying standing in line at grocery stores or just walking down the street! Some think prayers need to be long and full of information which is not needed. Just a simply, "Thank you Lord for all you have done in my life" is all that is needed. I love the Lord and I love talking to Him. He is the only One who can get me through each and every day. God bless and I love you! Thank you so much for the encouraging comments.     Prayer is the power point of the christians. All demonic agents are in constant consultations with there master the devil. We christians should at all times be in touch with our master JESUS CHRIST through meaningful prayer life. The fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much.     Let me add, prayer is God's way of bringing His kingdom on earth. It has nothing at all to do with us. Nothing at all.

    God's transaction of His goodness, His love, His mercy.....This is where many go wrong. Prayer is a place where you agree with God for His kingdom to come. He is the focus in prayer, not us.....=)

    Because at time what am asking from God might not be His will for me and believe me He will not give me that which is not His will for me, I should know there were times I prayed for certain things in my life and did not get them when I prayed for them but at a later date. so you are so right as usual.

The Miracle Of Prayer

by David J. Stewart I t is disturbing to find so many people that fail to believe God answers prayer. Several top “authors” and so-called “professionals” being interviewed on TV lately, have claimed that prayer is a great therapy (as an end in itself). You never hear them mention God. It is sad that prayer has been diminished to the status of going to the park to watch the birds. Prayer is not effective because it is a good therapy. Prayer is effective because there is an omnipotent (all powerful) God up in heaven that hears and answers prayer !  I am leery of bumper sticker theology.  I see bumper stickers promoting about the "Power of Prayer," but prayer is nothing without a Powerful Divine God.  I believe in the "Power of God."
