Nuggets for the Week
Faith is a plant which grows best in the winter. James Kennedy
Man's way leads to a hopeless end! Gods way leads to an endless hope!
A lot of kneeling will keep you in good standing.
If you pause to think-- You'll have cause to thank!
Holiness is not the way to Jesus--. Jesus is the way to holiness.
The 'Promised Land' is always on the other side of the wilderness.
To be lifted up--, go down (on your knees).
Satan can't bring you down any further than your knees.
Life is fragile---, handle with prayer.
Prayer doesn't make the morning come faster, but it sure makes the night seem shorter!
To be almost saved-- is to be totally lost--
Keep your head and your heart pointed in the right direction and you wont have to worry about your feet.
When you get tired talking to your friend about God--, talk to God about your friend.
If a man can be found faithful in hard places, he can usually be trusted in high places.
This battle is not yours-- it's the Lords'!
A holy person serves God passionately.

Thank you, my dear sister! For within the nuggets you have given me a great reminder.
ReplyDelete"Holiness is not the way to Jesus. Jesus is the way to holiness."
I am striving to live, to my best abilities, a life worthy of a disciple of Christ Jesus this year. And that's a great reminder to keep my focus on our Lord Jesus Christ instead of trying to be holy to reach Him.
You're a blessing!
Shalom Aleichem.
Thank God you liked them Sicarii, they are all great reminders sometimes we as men forget the most important things in life.
ReplyDeleteGodbless you for the frequent visits and comments hat go with it am really grateful.
My favourite is "Faith is a plant which grows best in the winter"
ReplyDeleteYou've reminded me of a line we have on our fridge:
"Those who kneel most, stand best"
Praise God for that Robert, like I said to Sicarii earlier.... "they are all great reminders sometimes we as men forget the most important things in life".

channelofhealing, these are all great, and this is my favorite: 'When you get tired talking to your friend about God--, talk to God about your friend.' Thanks, Anna :)
ReplyDeleteOh Anna you sure know how to make a mark in someone's life, when I logged on and saw all the comments even before the Recent comments widget could load I just said Anna has done her thing again like I said most of us have the grace to do what others cannot do. as for the nuggets I loved all like I told Sicarii that "they are all great reminders sometimes we as men forget the most important things in life".
ReplyDeletethe one that I can relate to and that scares me the most is this one...
To be almost saved-- is to be totally lost--
to me it is very scary. that is why we have to make sure we make heaven through the Special Grace of Almighty God Amen.
