God Is Always In Control... so don't worry about a thing!

Blessings and my sincere and profound greetings to you my friend, have not really been blogging for sometime now as I stated in a post earlier this month To You...

I want to share the story below with you, this is a real great story especially for those of us facing different situations in our lives, maybe the situation is so bad that you can't even see that there is hope for tomorrow. Whatever the case may be there is hope that our God will bring you through it in Jesus Mighty Name. I would like you to join me and just sing this song Through the Fire by Randy Travis & the Crabb Family or any other song of hope in God through trying times that you might love... why am I writing about trying times? I have found that Gods wish and purpose is to bless us and be a FATHER to us in every area of our life... no matter what we are going through, be it storms of life, situation that scares one, problems all over the world, that it's so difficult seeing an end in sight for all these but our hope is that our God will show up!

For some it's a daily struggle, some it just happens once in a while, all the same we all pass through the fire now an again, I tell every Child of God that sometimes it's the Fathers wish that He refines us... and make us fit vessels for His purpose. Oh this makes me remember my childhood, oh my God!!! what can I say I didn't have much of a Childhood anyway's but thank God for His mercies that  whenever I wanted to ask God... Why? or Why me? Why us? the Lord always takes me to that passage those days. Isaiah 48:10-11,10 Behold, I have refined thee, but not with silver; I have chosen thee in the furnace of affliction.
11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.

enjoy the story and Have Faith!!!

Years ago, I was enthralled as I listened to a pastor who for several years had faithfully served the church. His executive responsibilities had taken him all over this country. As he concluded his message, he told of one of the most frightening, yet thought-provoking, experiences of his life.
He had been on a long flight from one place to another. The first warning of the approaching problems came when the sign on the airplane flashed on: Fasten your seat belts. Then, after a while, a calm voice said, "We shall not be serving the beverages at this time as we are expecting a little turbulence. Please be sure your seat belt is fastened."
As he looked around the aircraft, it became obvious that many of the passengers were becoming apprehensive. Later, the voice of the announcer said, "We are so sorry that we are unable to serve the meal at this time. The turbulence is still ahead of us."
Then the storm broke. The ominous cracks of thunder could be heard even above the roar of the engines. Lightening lit up the darkening skies, and within moments that great plane was like a cork tossed around on a celestial ocean. One moment the airplane was lifted on terrific currents of air; the next, it dropped as if it were about to crash.
The pastor confessed that he shared the discomfort and fear of those around him. He said, "As I looked around the plane, I could see that nearly all the passengers were upset and alarmed. Some were praying. The future seemed ominous and many were wondering if they would make it through the storm.
Then, I suddenly saw a little girl. Apparently the storm meant nothing to her. She had tucked her feet beneath her as she sat on her seat; she was reading a book and every thing within her small world was calm and orderly. Sometimes she closed her eyes, then she would read again; then she would straighten her legs, but worry and fear were not in her world. When the plane was being buffeted by the terrible storm when it lurched this way and that, as it rose and fell with frightening severity, when all the adults were scared half to death, that marvelous child was completely composed and unafraid." The minister could hardly believe his eyes.
It was not surprising therefore, that when the plane finally reached its destination and all the passengers were hurrying to disembark, our pastor lingered to speak to the girl whom he had watched for such a long time. Having commented about the storm and behavior of the plane, he asked why she had not been afraid.
The child replied, "'Cause my Daddy's the pilot, and he's taking me home."
There are many kinds of storms that buffet us:
• Physical,
• Mental,
• Financial,
• Domestic, and...
Many other storms can easily and quickly darken our skies and throw our plane into apparently uncontrollable movement. We have all known such times, and let us be honest and confess, it is much easier to be at rest when our feet are on the ground than when we are being tossed about a darkened sky.
Let us remember... Our Father is the Pilot. He is in control and taking us home... so Don't Worry

Till I came your way again remain blessed and hopeful

Love

  1. Interesting. I have been thinking about this recently. Is God really in control of everything? Of course He is ultimately, but He also gives us free will. That means that someone can rob my house, spit in my face, murder my child. God is not in control of that! Of course He can choose to be if He wishes, but that is not the way He works, and many of us struggle with that. We wish He would intervene. He does ask however, that we turn and give Him all the events of our lives, He will work them ALL for good, even the worst things. That is the real miracle, not that he will rescue us from from every disaster.

  2. Hi Mike, back from your trip yet? I enjoyed the breathtaking views in the pics...
I agree 100% with what you just said... the miracle of Salvation and deliverance of our souls from destruction is definitely the greatest miracle we can ever get in this life. for the flesh will neither go to Hell or Heaven so when we spend our time worring about things of this life and forget the things of God we are setting up ourselves for disaster.

thanks for the comment I know others will benefit from it as I did.

    Godbless

  3. Thanks for the expose on the Olive tree.
Adding to Mike's comment: God only intervenes if you invite him. He who seek him, find him and unless you ask him to, he will just stand back and watch you do it your own way, and that does not mean he is not in control. He sometimes make us pass thru tough times so that our faith in him can be stronger and for us to learn to trust him with all the keys to our heart and life? in Romans 8:32,he did not even spare/shield his own son,who knew no sin, how much more us. Let us all learn to trust that even when things are not working our way, he knows why and it will eventually be for our own good.

  4. Hi Bola, to add to what you just said "Let us all learn to trust that even when things are not working our way, he knows why and it will eventually be for our own good" (everything God does is good! as far as am concerned there is no way you can have it better than what God already designed for you/us... in other words He knows best and the Bible says alot about God being in control of the whole Universe)
this is just exactly what Channelofhealing is all about, cos this is what I have been praying for... that all who have something to say can share it here for all of us see and join in the discussion.
thanks all for the input am really Blessed in Jesus Mighty Name Amen.
