Love This

Oh my God!!! I had goose bumps as I was reading this story, and it goes to show that no matter what you are facing or passing through that there is hope that time will heal that situation... I would like you to take time and go through these Bible passages at the end of the post carefully, so you could grasp the seriousness of the the matter at hand for many at times we forget the whole point of our existence. We are in a War wether we accept it or not! am not talking about the physical war of machines or quarrels/cat fights we normally have with one another but, the War Within, that don't seem to have an end in sight. It has to do with issue of LOVE for ourselves, our neighbors, and the rest of mankind in general... We battle daily with this.

According to the Wikipedia definition of love, it states that... The Bible speaks of love as a set of attitudes and actions that are far broader than the concept of love as an emotional attachment. Love is seen as a set of behaviors that humankind is encouraged to act out. One is encouraged not just to love one's partner, or even one's friends but also to love one's enemies. The Bible describes this type of active love in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8: "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails".

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.
Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.
When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.
Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."
Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.
Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"
Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.
Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,
Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."

What a story!!! I have read so many but... this takes the cake... I have just learnt from this story that only time will heal whatever pain you are feelingLove may conquer all, but it needs time as its field general. Anonymous.  we can go on and on about how much we love one another, how much we do for others, how many extra mile we go for others, but the fact remains that without love we would be no where today... for love begets love. Why am I speaking about love today? look around you, today and you will find that what is wrong with the world today is the lack of love or inability to love others as ourselves... for when we love one another we are building bridges that divide us, Love one another as Jesus loves you. Try to show kindness in all that you do. Be gentle and loving in deed and in thought, For these are the things Jesus taught. Anonymous. Nobody is perfect in this subject to say the least but, the fact still remains that we choose who we want to love and who we don't want to love. that is one of the reasons we either end up hurt and depress with great amount of self-hate or end up happy, fulfilled and grateful in life... it always our choice "thank God for giving us the power to choose"  we choose when to show love, how much of it we show or give to someone else other than ourselves and spouses/children, or we are complaining of how little we are getting the love we so much crave and desire from our friends/ family.... and like this quote says it all The fate of love is that it always seems too little or too much. Philip James Bailey

I pray we don't become so self engrossed that we think we are too good for others...                                                                                                   Lastly, I say even though you are feeling unloved at the moment, I urge you to read this Bible passages through and through so you will be be able to wait for when Gods love will overshadow your life that you don't need a friend to tell you "I Love You" for you to feel loved.

Leviticus 19:18-19 18 “Never seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.
19 “You must obey all my laws.

John 13:34-35 4 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. 35 Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

Ephesians 3:17-19  7 And I pray that Christ will be more and more at home in your hearts as you trust in him. May your roots go down deep into the soil of God’s marvelous love. 18 And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love really is. 19 May you experience the love of Christ, though it is so great you will never fully understand it. Then you will be filled with the fullness of life and power that comes from God.

2 Timothy 3; 2-5 2 For people will love only themselves and their money. They will be boastful and proud, scoffing at God, disobedient to their parents, and ungrateful. They will consider nothing sacred. 3 They will be unloving and unforgiving; they will slander others and have no self-control; they will be cruel and have no interest in what is good. 4 They will betray their friends, be reckless, be puffed up with pride, and love pleasure rather than God. 5 They will act as if they are religious, but they will reject the power that could make them godly. You must stay away from people like that.

Till I come your way again, remain blessed in Christ our Lord.
